After breakfast and a longer and interesting chat to Debbie on the campground we finally made it on the trail by 9am. Not much to say about this day though. More forest, more lakes and more mosquitoes. We are definitely looking forward to getting to Bend!
My muscle still hurts so it was really only a day of making the miles. No crushing miles wearing smiles today…
But I actually broke twice to take pictures of some of the lakes – despite the mosquitoes:
Did you know that dragonflies eat mosquitoes? I didn’t. But I was wondering why there were so many and why they kept on hovering around us and the tent. Until I saw them catching mosquitoes. There are tons of different types out here – I’ll try to catch more.
