It was a real shitty night! I guess I caught a food poisoning from the lunch. As soon as I laid down it started. And then it was a race every time to get out of the sleeping bag and the tent before “the shit” started. Vomiting and diarrhea for half the night. If it wasn’t so cold I would have just stayed outside. Well, I’ll save the details. The night was short and when I finally found some sleep it was already early in the morning.
I slept until 8am and then slowly started going. But I felt really bad. I had cramps in my stomach and the feeling that I would have to vomit any second again. It was really hard to keep moving. At least it was a good trail and downhill for now. But fun is something different…
The entire day I had the feeling I was sleepwalking. To make a long story short – a really painful day with a lot of breaks. I really hope it will get better soon and it was only the food…
Made it out of Spain into France again.
And then down the other side and up again and I was in Andorra! First time for me.
Luckily the weather was good and it is Saturday today so the gondola was running in the ski area and with this the restaurant was open. I doped myself with electrolytes, sugar and coffin.
And then continued down the road into the valley. All I wanted was to sleep.
Fought my way up another hour or so to the Refugi de Sorteny since I was also running low on food – especially with my speed today the supermarket tomorrow afternoon is out of reach I guess.
Good food and a nice chat with a family from Spain. But now to bed. It’s still not over unfortunately. I really hope I didn’t catch anything serious and it was only the food…
