Getting up was tough! The sleeping bag was just to cosy…
But before finally left I found MiniMe – the smaller version of myself. Same gaitors, same pants, same jacket, same beard… 😂
Just a few impressions from today – 22 miles of hiking.
And when we finally were done circling around Lake Silverwood and cruised into our camp spot we found quite a few hikers there already. It was a day use area next to the highway with water and toilets. And there had been rumors that there is a pizza delivery service who brings pizza and beers out here… And yes, it was true!!! So we ordered a bunch of pizza and two boxes of beer. When he arrived we cracked up – the boxes had 30 beers each 😂😂😂. This trail is a pure eating and drinking challenge. I am sure I will gain weight until Canada 🙈
What a funny night. Again no early start for us tomorrow…
