After our adventure of climbing Mt Rainier we deserved a few days off. Too great that we stayed with my friends Anna & Jeremy who I had met on my Te Araroa adventure in New Zealand last year. Great to reconnect with these amazing brews and couzi couzs…

We went from food to beer to food to beer again and had a great blast. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.

Thank you guys for being such cool friends and trail angels at the same time! Also a big thanks to Jer’s mom and Steve for hosting us in the Lake House. Our view for the last three days 😳

How did it the famous Austrian frame? I’ll be back! 😎🤘🏼

I caught a cold, the flew or whatever virus infection 😝 I guess my body interpreted the break as time to recover. We pushed it hard with the last days and the climb. I am getting older though and need my rest I guess. So we stayed another day and I stayed mostly in bed, slept, ate home made chicken soup and rested. But today it was time to get back on the trail. So
good bye to the cosy world and hello back to “work”.

Alpental Rd? Switzerland?

The day turnes out as beautiful as expected. We entered the Alpine Lakes section. I already know how beautiful it is / Anna, Jeremy and I had hiked in that area exactly a year ago. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…
